Finding a clean, safe public restroom shouldn't feel like a gamble. Where We Droppin is a location-based mobile app that helps users quickly discover nearby public bathrooms rated and reviewed by real people, so you always know what you're walking into before you walk in.The biggest design challenge wasn't the interface, it was the subject matter. Bathrooms are one of those topics people avoid talking about, even when they desperately need one. The goal was to completely disarm that discomfort through design: a bold, vibrant color palette of electric green and bright blue paired with playful geometric patterns keeps the experience feeling energetic and approachable rather than clinical or awkward. The visual language says this is fun so the subject matter doesn't have to feel embarrassing.The app was built around three core user flows, leaving a review, filtering by bathroom features (seat covers, private stall, accessibility), and finding the nearest option fast, all grounded in real user research and iterated from lo-fi wireframes to a fully polished hi-fi prototype.
