Book Redesign
The goal of this redesign was to challenge myself typographically and conceptually by creating a visual experience that disrupts traditional reading rhythms. Each spread explores bold image-to-type relationships and unconventional typographic treatments, while still maintaining a strong sense of alignment and intentional structure, what I like to call “controlled chaos.”

Project Brief
I designed the book to feel jarring and emotionally charged, incorporating interactive and surprising elements that demand attention. The RGB color palette, inspired by LED screen, contrasts sharply with the black-and-white elements to heighten visual tension. Each spread features a defined focal point that guides the reader’s eye through the composition, though I intentionally break this rhythm at times to create moments of visual tension and release. The book balances between loud, textured spreads with oversized typography and quieter moments with minimal, small-scale type. Throughout, I maintain consistency in color, typefaces, and imagery to hold everything together as one cohesive experience.
